John Owen - Set Your Mind on things Above, not on things on the Earth

Colossians 3:1 Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep
seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of
God. 2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on
earth. 3 For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

1 John 2:15 Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone
loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
