Jesus Christ is pre-eminent in all things; unlike in the cults; God has chosen to be glorified through Christ; the mystery of the first Christmas; baby Jesus is 'the image of God' - this expression defined; not just likeness; Jesus is uncreated and eternal; all things were created in and through Jesus; he holds them together; the first man to keep the Law; the firstborn from the dead; he did it alone; give Christ all pre-eminence.

Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
